BOONE, N.C. -
Appalachian State University men's soccer head coach Matt Nelson has announced the 2013
spring schedule, beginning on March 23.
The Mountaineers open their spring slate with a trip to the
Palmetto State, as they face Big South opponent Presbyterian College with a 4
p.m. kickoff.
Appalachian continues its road trip with two more matches
against Big South opponents, as the Apps face UNC Asheville on March 30 and
Campbell on April 13. The Mountaineers faced Asheville during the 2012 regular
season with the Mountaineers earning a 3-0 road victory.
Nelson's team returns to the High Country for the final two
matches of the spring season. The Apps host Lincoln Memorial on April 14 and
Lees-McRae on April 21.
The program will also host the Alumni Game on April 28 at 3
p.m.
