SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Wednesday's Appalachian State University women's tennis match at Wofford has been postponed due to rain. The Mountaineers and Terriers will take to the courts again on Monday at 3 p.m.
Action in the Southern Conference match had commenced before scattered rain and local lightning precluded play. ITA and SoCon rules dictate that a match suspended for more than 48 hours shall be restarted, so Monday's scoreboards will be set to zero, and matches will be played in their entirety.
Appalachian State returns home Saturday to host Samford at 10 a.m. in the first match of the day's twinbill that features a 2 p.m. men's tennis showdown against Chattanooga.
