"The first winning season in school history is a great accomplishment and something to build on for next season. It's exciting to see where our program is going and to know that we have all of our starters back for next season."

The Mountaineers scored early and often in game one, scoring two in the first, three in hte third and one in the fourth. Rappe led off the inning with a triple and was followed with back-to-back walks from Rembielak and Cashion. Meghan Smith was next and worked a walk, and ball four got away from the WCU catcher, allowing the speedy Rembielak to score from second.
