WEATHER UPDATE:
The snow that moved in early Saturday has finally vacated the High Country and ASU physical plant staff members spent much of the day on Wednesday removing snow from the playing surface and seating areas at Kidd Brewer Stadium.

Saturday's forecast calls for mostly clear skies with temperatures in the low 40s. Any precipitation is expected to hold off until after the game, giving fans time to come up and down the mountain before the next blast of wintry weather moves into the High Country on Sunday and Monday.

MOORE GOES FOR NO. 200 AT ASU: As if there weren't already enough reasons for fans to turn out to The Rock on Saturday for the national quarterfinal matchup between the winners of four of the last five national championships, a victory over Villanova would be Moore's 200th as head coach at Appalachian.

Moore 199-78 in 22 seasons at Appalachian, which is already 28 more victories than any other coach has ever accumulated at a Southern Conference institution (Wallace Wade ranks second with 171 wins at Alabama and Duke from 1923-50).

Saturday's matchup is an epic one from the coaching standpoint as well, as Moore and Villanova head coach Andy Talley are two of only 12 active Division I coaches (FCS or FBS) with 200 career wins. Moore is 226-126-2 in 29 seasons as a head coach, including stints at North Texas and Texas Tech, while Talley is 215-124-2 in 31 seasons, the last 26 at VU.

Tickets still remain for Saturday's game and can be purchased online by clicking HERE, by phone at (828) 262-2079 and in person at the ASU athletics ticket office in the Holmes Center. Tickets cost $25 for adults, $15 for youth (ages 3-12) and just $5 for ASU students.

VOTE FOR PRESLEY:
Presley has been nominated for the Capital One Cup Impact Performance of the Week award for his efforts in last Saturday's second-round NCAA Division I Football Championship win over Western Illinois.

Presley accounted 311 yards of offense — 264 of which came on the ground — and three touchdowns in the 42-14 win over WIU. The 264 rushing yards were the fourth-most in school history and, in the process, he became only the fourth player in NCAA Division I FCS history to pass for 2,000 yards and rush for 1,000 yards in a season. With 2,270 passing yards and 1,017 rushing yards this season, ASU's junior quarterback joins Morehead State's David Dinkins (1999), Texas State's Barrick Nealy (2005) and his predecessor as the Mountaineers' signal-caller, Armanti Edwards (2006), as the only FCS players to ever accomplish the rare feat.
