Quarterback- DeAndre Presely
Different about game this year and last year:
“Last year we stopped ourselves a lot in the red zone and throughout the game, offensively we stopped ourselves a lot. This week we know that if we don't stop ourselves we could put up points. We didn't stop ourselves and allowed ourselves to play football.”

Belief in offensive line:
“I am always proud of our offensive line. I mean they work day in and day out and they take pride in it and it shows during the game that they don't want any of our quarterbacks to get hit. I know my guys and I know they take pride in protecting us. I love our offensive line and I would chose them any day over anybody”

Defensive Back- Mark LeGree
On facing the option:
“It was frustrating during practice, we kept seeing the same stuff all week. It is just about memory and being disciplined, because after awhile you are eventually going to make a mistake. But since we practiced so much we did really well today. Didn't have too many big plays and we just played well.”

“A lot easier to prepare for Wofford and Georgia Southern” (having already faced the option)

On The Citadel not completing a pass:
“I am not shocked that they didn't, but I had no idea that they didn't complete a pass.”

Head Coach- Jerry Moore
“I was proud of our football team. We didn't know for sure what kind of ball club Citadel might have … they are 0-3 in the league …. Kevin is just a classy, classy guy, so you don't know exactly what is going to happen when that bus pulls in here they are such a disciplined school.”

“To be absolutely honest we turn the ball over on the first play and they go up 7-0 and that is just fuel for the fire. That was one of my big concerns against them, turnovers keeps them in the ball game, kind of like what we did against Chattanooga.”

“DeAndre wasn't as sharp tonight. But I mean he is fine, he is healthy, he is ok and we got out of it with a good win and we got to play a lot of players.”

“There isn't anyone on our team that I am more proud of than CoCo Hillary. He has been a hard worker in practice and he is never going to win any kind of award for being a great blocker, but he gets in your way every once in awhile and that works. He is an energetic guy in practice, and that is what I base it on. CoCo practices hard, and going through some of the things he has gone through, he handled it all in a classy way and I think our players have respect for him.”

On the good start to the game:
“I really did, we had a turnover early, got the ball back and had a nice drive and got in for a touchdown and we had some momentum going, just really disappointed … the two snaps really hurt us on the punt, against a good team like App State you cant give them those opportunities. I think some of our guys got rattled a little bit with the atmosphere.”

“What a great job by Alexander Wall. A guy that has never punted before, he's our backup, and he did a great job of handling the ball in the weather, and did a great job getting rid of it”

“They made some real good throws. We had that pass interference that really hurt us on a fourth down. We had a chance to get the ball back and we intercepeted it and they called interference I guess and that was the play that hurt us at that time."

Defensive End- Erik Clanton
“Big games like this, going against the number one team, you have to start fast. You can't just start one way and gradually get better. You have to start fast and play fast the whole time”

Defensive Back- Brandon McCladdie
On the interception:
“It felt good, but it would have felt better if we had gotten the win.”

Key to ASU's success in passing the ball:
“Breakdowns in coverages. We kind of knew it was coming at us, but it was a break down in coverage's”

DeAndre's ability to make something up:
“He is a very versatile quarterback, we knew that, he does a pretty good job but break downs in coverage's just really hurt us”

Quarterback- Matt Thompson
On ASU's defense:
“Their defense is fast and smart too, and they just stay on you. You might do your read and get around the man but then there is somebody else coming for you, they recover quickly.”

What can Bulldogs do to get something going in the passing game?
“I feel if we just run the ball better, then the passing game will open up for itself. I have confidence in this offense and I am pretty sure the 10 other men on the field with me have the same confidence I have”

On the atmosphere:
“The atmosphere is great. They told us it was going to be crazy like this. The atmosphere was fun to play in.”
