Individual

  • 2008 Walter Payton Award winner Armanti Edwards made his season debut after missing all of fall camp and last weekend's opener at East Carolina with a foot injury. Edwards tallied 298 yards of total offense and two touchdowns.
  • With his 298 yards of total offense, Edwards moved up three spots into 16th place in the NCAA Division I FCS history with 11,081 total yards in his career.
  • Junior running back Devon Moore notched the second 100-yard rushing game of his career with a career-high 155 yards on 23 carries. His only previous 100-yard rushing game and previous career-high came with 100 yards versus Eastern Washington in the 2007 NCAA Division I quarterfinals.
  • Sophomore Ed Gainey made a key interception on the first play of the fourth quarter that gave the ASU defense its first stop of the second half. The interception was the first of Gainey's career.
