ESPN Lauds Mountaineers for ?FCS Dominance?
BOONE, N.C. — ESPN's College Football Live featured North Carolina in its summer-long “50 State Tour” segment on Wednesday and prominently mentioned Appalachian State University's contributions to the state's gridiron legacy.

Voiced by legendary announcer Brent Musburger, the segment praised Appalachian for its “FCS dominance” while recapping ASU's historic win over Michigan in 2007 and its three-straight NCAA Division I FCS national championships from 2005-07. Among the Mountaineers highlighted during the segment were head coach Jerry Moore, quarterback Armanti Edwards, running back Devon Moore, defensive back Jared Reine and former Apps Corey Lynch, Kevin Richardson and Trey Elder.

Wednesday's edition of College Football Live will re-air on Wednesday evening at 5:30 and 7 p.m. on ESPN2 and at 6:30 and 11:30 p.m. on ESPNU, as well as every half-hour between 5:30 and 10 a.m. on Thursday morning on ESPNU.
