CHAPEL HILL, N.C.- Appalachian State Unviversity men's tennis posted two impressive wins Thursday at the NCAA Mideast Regionals. The Apps were in action in just doubles play, posting a stout 2-0 record on the day.

The duo of Peter Jacobs and Trent Constance routed the team of Luke Marchese and Jared Pinksy 8-2, while Alain Humblet and Philip Kloc ran past SoCon foe Arsel Kumderli and Orcun Seyrek 8-2.

Seyrek is ranked no. 95 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) Top 125 preseason rankings.

ASU continues with regional play tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday.
