» Named All-Sun Belt for the third straight season, earning Second Team honors.
» Ends career with 2,067 points, which ranks second all-time. Owns the program record for field goals made in a career with 712. Also ranks third in 3-pointers made (269) and tied for third in games played (126).
» Played and started in all 32 games, leading the team in scoring at 18.3 ppg and in assists with 75.
» Scored 586 points during the season, becoming the first player in school history to score 500 or more points in three different seasons.
» Became just the second player in program history to score 2,000 career points on Feb. 28 at ULM.

2017-18 - JUNIOR
» Named Second Team All-Sun Belt and NABC Second Team All-District.
» Played and started in all 33 games, leading the team in scoring at 18.5 ppg and in assists with 100. Also had 36 steals, which ranked second on the team.
» Poured in 609 points, which ranks fifth in single-season program history. Became the fifth player in program history to score 600 or more points in a season.
» Made 206 field goals during the season, which is tied for the seventh most in single season program history.
» Reached double figures in 30 of 33 games. Had 14 games in which he scored 20 or more points and three games of 30 or more.
» Netted a season-high 32 points twice. Had 32 points, three rebounds and two assists against Iowa State on November 16. Also had 32 points at Arkansas State on Feb, 22, while adding five rebounds and three steals.
» Dished out a career-high six assists in two contests.
» Poured in 31 points, including a 5-of-10 (50.0 percent) clip from beyond the arc, two rebounds, three assists and three steals at UT Arlington on Feb, 1.

» Appeared in 30 games and made 30 starts, averaging a career-best 31.0 minutes per contest.
» Led the team with a career-high 16.7 points per game, while adding 3.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
» Scored 502 points on the season, becoming the 21st player in program history to accomplish that feat (tied for 20th - Don King - 1959-60).
» Netted 27 double-digit scoring games (45 for his career) and topped the 20-point plateau on seven occasions (14 for his career) over the course of the season.
» Grabbed a career-high nine rebounds at Arkansas State (Jan. 16, 2016).
» Scored a career-high 36 points at Georgia Southern (Jan. 21) on a career-best 13 made field goals on 24 attempts. He finished 6-for-12 from 3-pt range. Played in a career-high 38 minutes.
» Two games later, scored 33 points against UTA (Jan. 28) on 12-for-19 shooting from the floor and a scorching 8-for-12 from beyond the arc.
» Through 61 career games, Shabazz has netted 872 career points - just 128 points shy of becoming the 32nd 1,000-point scorer in program history.

2015-16 - FRESHMAN
» Made 31 appearances, logging 30 starts and 25.4 minutes per contest as a freshman
» Averaged 11.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. The scoring average ranks as the highest by a true freshman since at least the 1990-91 season (Ricky Nedd - 11.6 ppg).
» Scored a then career-high of 21 points on the road at No. 7 North Carolina in an ESPN2 showdown - finishing 8-for-12 from the field. His dunk over the Tar Heels’ Brice Johnson earned him a spot at No. 5 on ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays (Dec. 21).
» Posted back-to-back 20-point games in home contests against Georgia State and Georgia Southern, including a career-high 29 points on 10-for-17 shooting against the Eagles in a 101-100 heartbreaking loss (Jan. 25).
» Nearly topped his high in points in a narrow 91-90 loss to ULM when he finished with 27 points on 10-for-17 shooting from the field, including 3-for-6 from long range (Feb. 6).
» Finished with two more 20-point outings toward the end of the season, including a 22-point effort on 8-for-17 shooting and 4-for-9 from three to help lead the Mountaineers to a major 69-63 conference win over then No. 35 RPI and automatic NCAA Tournament qualifier Little Rock.
HIGH SCHOOL
» Attended Knightdale High School in Raleigh, N.C. before transferring to national powerhouse Huntington Prep (W.V.)
» Earned all-conference accolades while becoming one of the region’s top high school players.
» As a junior at Knightdale, Shabazz averaged 25.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game, while finishing second in the state of North Carolina in scoring.
» As a senior at Huntington Prep, Shabazz averaged 9.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game in 30 contests.
» Shabazz chose Appalachian State over offers from Bowling Green, Buffalo and Delaware, He also garnered interest from national powers Maryland and Pittsburgh, as well as most Division I schools throughout the region.
