SOPHOMORE • 2017-18
Posted a breakout sophomore campaign, starting in all 31 games and averaged a career high of 32.8 minutes per game … set career highs and more than doubled her averages from her freshman to sophomore season …set the sophomore record for rebounds in a season with 355, surpassing Brittney Whiteside’s mark of 328 in 1985-86 … the 355 rebounds are the second highest in a single season … led the Apps and the Sun Belt in rebounding at a stellar clip of 11.5, which was also 13th in the nation … she nearly averaged a double-double as her 9.0 points per game was third on the team …her rebounding average was the fifth highest in school history and the highest since Shannon Thomas (1990-91;12.0 rpg) and also the highest in the Sun Belt since Travesa Grant of Lamar (1993-94; 13.2 rpg) … finished with a team-high of 1.7 blocks per game, tied for fifth in the conference … one of three players to rank in the top five in both rebounds and blocks … her career numbers led to a Third Team All-Sun Belt selection … posted 24 games with 10 or more rebounds and eight games with 15 or more off the glass (both a league best) … she became the sixth player in school history to grab at least 20 rebounds when she amassed a personal 20 boards against UTA (12/31), which tied for the ninth-highest performance in a game and the second highest in a single contest in the conference … owned two of the top three rebounding performances … tied a league best with 13 double-doubles and was 47th in the nation in the category … has two games with at least 15 points, 15 rebounds, three blocks and two assists … turned in a career-high 18 points along with 19 rebounds, five blocks and four assists in the first round Sun Belt Tournament win over Arkansas State (3/7) … after posting 16 points, 18 rebounds, three blocks, three steals and two blocks in a road win at Marshall (12/16), Plummer was named to NCAA.com’s Starting Five, winning the fans’ vote on Twitter and joining Chennedy Carter (Texas A&M), Brooke McCarty (Texas), Teaira McCowan (Mississippi State), and Jessica Shepard (Notre Dame), which two of the players in the list competed in this season’s National Championship.
FRESHMAN • 2016-17
Had a solid freshman season for the Mountaineers where she finished second on the team averaging 5.5 rpg and 0.7 blocks per game … notched a career-high of 10 points twice against Arkansas State (1/5) and in the Black and Gold’s first-ever Sun Belt Tournament win over Coastal Carolina (3/7) … was the first freshman since Maryah Sydnor on March 4, 2012 against Chattanooga to record a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds against Arkansas State (1/5) … tallied three double-digit rebounding games, including a pair of 11-rebound performances against A-State and Louisiana (2/23) … averaged eight points and six boards for her best two-game stretch of the season …ranked 12th during Sun Belt play in rebounding at a 6.2 rebounding clip while ranking second among all freshmen … also finished tied for 11th in blocks per game during league and second in blocks among freshmen.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended East Davidson High School where she had a decorated career in not only basketball, but also softball and golf .... earned four letters in basketball and softball while being a three-year letterwinner in golf ... was named Conference Player of the Year during her sophomore campaign and Player of the Year in District 7 her junior season ... earned her team’s Most Valuable Player award three consecutive years in basketball and garnered all-state honors during her freshman and sophomore seasons ... the forward has put up impressive numbers in her first three seasons, averaging at least 15 points, 13 boards, and 6 blocks per game. Her best season came when she turned in career highs in points (16.4), rebounds (14.6) and blocks (7.2) per contest ... well-rounded athlete, she has earned all-conference awards in golf and all-state and all-conference awards in softball.
