App State Baseball is excited to see every fan in attendance at this year’s home games. Before making the trip to Beaver Field at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium, please take a look at the information below to prepare yourself for what to expect.
 
Remember to arrive early, be loud and be respectful.
 
Accessibility
  • For information on parking, please contact the Yosef Club at 828-262-7999.
  • For seating for guests with disabilities, please contact the App State ticket office at 828-262-7733 during regular business hours.
Admission
  • Reserved seating in the seating bowl and general admission seating down the right field line is $10 when purchased online at least one day before the game. Same-day ticket purchases for these seating locations are $15 at the stadium.
    • App State will host two premium series in 2026 against Coastal Carolina and Louisiana. Tickets for those two series are $15 when purchased one day in advance online and $20 for same-day purchases.
  • Adirondack chair seating on the first base side terrace is $30 when purchased prior to game day and $35 at the gate the day of the game ($35/$40 for premium series). To purchase or for more information, call the ticket office at 828-262-7733.
  • Firepit seating (4 tickets) can be reserved for $120 per game ($130 for premium series) by calling the ticket office at 828-262-7733.

Clear Bag Policy
  • Smith Stadium employs a clear bag policy, intended to enhance patron safety and expedite stadium entry.
  • Approved bags include clear plastic bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” and small clutch purses no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”
  • Other approved bags include:
    • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags
    • Clear diaper bags
    • Individual seat cushions that do not include arms or pockets
 
Concessions & Merchandise
  • Food and drink are available for purchase at the concession stand located directly in front of the home plate entrance.
  • Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at all home games with a valid ID.
  • App State Baseball merchandise – including hats, sweatshirts, T-shirts, accessories and blankets – are available for purchase next to the concession stand.
  • Concessions and merchandise are available exclusively for cashless purchase.
 
Gate Openings
  • Gates open one hour prior to first pitch of every home game.
 
Mobile App
  • Download the App State Athletics mobile app to get the latest updates and promotions for App State game days and sports teams. Enable push notifications to stay up-to-date with all your favorite App State teams and alerts.
 
Parking
  • A limited number of spaces in the Smith Stadium parking lot will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis on game day. Parking is $5 and must be purchased with a credit card upon entry to the lot.
  • Parking in the Greenwood Parking Lot will be available free of charge, and a complimentary shuttle service will be provided to and from Smith Stadium.
    • The shuttle will run continuously from one hour prior to first pitch through the end of the game
    • For midweek games, the shuttle will also service the Blue Ridge Parking Deck

Prohibited Items
  • The following items are prohibited inside Smith Stadium
    • Outside food or beverage (patrons may bring 1 unopened bottle of water)
    • Coolers or containers
    • Artificial noise makers
    • Explosives or firearms
    • Folding chairs
    • Umbrellas
    • Smoking/tobacco products
    • Any other items that Smith Stadium staff deem dangerous or disruptive to the fan experience
      • Exceptions will be made for those with medical conditions
 
Junior Mountaineers Kids Club (JMKC)
  • Mountaineer fans 8th grade and younger can join the Junior Mountaineer Kids Club to receive exclusive JMKC gear and experiences at App State Athletics events.
  • JMKC members also receive free admission to all App State home baseball games.
 
 
Yosef Club
  • The Yosef Club is the annual fundraising component of the Mountaineers Athletic Fund.
  • The Yosef Club's primary purpose is to provide scholarships for App State student-athletes.
  • Yosef Club members receive a variety of benefits. Members with season tickets receive their own parking pass for all home football and basketball games. Other benefits include a quarterly newsletter and special events throughout the year.
