Beam Named to All-Sun Belt Third Team

BOONE, N.C. — App State senior Addison Beam has been named to the All-Sun Belt third team via a vote of the league's men's golf coaches.

He's the fourth Mountaineer to earn All-Sun Belt honors, joining Patrick Moriarty (2016), Tripp Summerlin (2018) and Timothius Tirto Tamardi (2021, 2022).

Beam entered the Sun Belt Championship tournament with a season scoring average of 71.73 to rank eighth in the league. He was one of eight Sun Belt golfers to post an individual victory this season.

A native of Cherryville, N.C., Beam won the 110-player Surf Club Invitational with a 10-under total. He had two other top-five finishes during the 2023-24 season, placing second at the Phoenix Invitational in October with an 11-under total and in a tie for fourth at the Irish Creek Collegiate in April.
