BURLINGTON, N.C. — App State Men's Golf hopes be back at full strength Monday when it begins play at the Phoenix Invitational.
The 54-hole event at Alamance Country Club has 36 holes scheduled for Monday and 18 holes scheduled for Tuesday.
Brody Tidwell,
Matthew McDougall,
James Marriott,
Caden Lee and Rob Bergheim will represent the Mountaineers, while
Wyatt Beaver will compete as an individual.
Tidwell, who had top-20 finishes in the first two fall events, was a late scratch from last week's event because he was under the weather. Lee went from competing as an individual to being part of the five-man lineup, and he held the lead in all three rounds of the West Bay Collegiate Invitational as App State finished 18 and 36 holes as the event co-leader before dropping to ninth on the final day.
