BOONE, N.C. – The App State volleyball team came back from a ten-point deficit in the third set to record a 3-0 (25-21, 26-24, 26-24) sweep against Coastal Carolina in the Holmes Convocation Center on Friday.
"What a weekend. We haven't beaten Coastal since 2018 and it was incredible to beat them twice this weekend," said head coach Sarah Rumely Noble. "This team is gutsy. We were down 19-9 in the third set today and never gave up and won the set, 26-24. I say it all the time, but the belief is high. I love this team. Thanks to all the fans who came out to push us over the finish line tonight. It was electric in Holmes."
