WILMINGTON, N.C. — In a deep field with 14 teams, App State Men's Golf placed ninth at the Seahawk Intercollegiate that concluded Tuesday at the Country Club of Landfall.
Sverrir Haraldsson led the Mountaineers with a 28th-place finish (73-74-74—221), while
Jake Lane tied for 39th (76-72-76—224).
Justin Morgan opened with a 74 and
Ryan Marter closed with a 73 as they both tied for 43rd, and
Timothius Tirto Tamardi ended the 54-hole event with a 74. Playing individually,
Addison Beam had a second-round 74.
App State recorded team scores of 299, 297 and 297 for a 29-over total of 893. Only one team (UNCW at 11 under) had an under-par total. Wright State's Tyler Goecke finished as the medalist with an 8-under total of 208 (70-68-70).
