App State improved to 6-5 on the season and needs one more win to become bowl eligible. The Mountaineers play their regular-season finale at longtime rival Georgia Southern next Saturday.

Since the Mountaineers' 2014 FBS debut, App State has the sixth-most wins (86) in the FBS in that span behind just Alabama (113), Clemson (109), Ohio State (104), Georgia (97) and Oklahoma (91).

The sellout attendance at Kidd Brewer Stadium was 32,096, the seventh-largest crowd in stadium history. Six of the top eight crowds in stadium history have occurred in 2022.
For the second straight year, App State broke the all-time Sun Belt and school attendance records. The seven crowds at Kidd Brewer Stadium this season averaged 33,566 fans, breaking last year's record average of 30,441. All seven home crowds this year topped 30,000, including the record attendance of 40,168 in the opener vs. UNC.Â

App State improved to 3-0 all-time against Old Dominion and 1-0 as conference opponents.

The Mountaineers have a 59-15 record against Sun Belt teams since joining the league in 2014, including a 33-5 record in home games against Sun Belt foes.

Since 2014, App State has a home record of 48-9.

App State won on Senior Day at Kidd Brewer Stadium for the 24th time in the last 25 years.

KaRon White made his first career start as the nose tackle.

Cooper Hodges made his 50th career start – all consecutive – as the Mountaineers' right tackle.

App State totaled 498 yards of offense, including 291 through the air and 207 on the ground. It was the most total yards against a Sun Belt foe this year and the fifth time over 200 rushing yards this season.

Chase Brice completed 15 of 22 passes for 291 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He entered the game ranked top 10 in the FBS in touchdown passes and now has 27 this season (with just six INTs).

Ahmani Marshall rushed for a career-high 137 yards and a 17-yard touchdown, his third score of the year.

Kaedin Robinson caught three passes for a career-high 90 yards, including his second touchdown as a Mountaineer.

Christian Wells' one catch on the day went for a 75-yard touchdown, his third score of the year.

For the fifth time this season, App State held the opposing offense to two touchdowns or less.

Against Old Dominion's pass-heavy attack,
Steven Jones Jr. piled up a career-high six pass breakups, while making two solo tackles and a TFL. His six PBUs are believed to be a single-game school record.

Nick Ross led the team in tackles with 11, one shy of his career high.

Jalen McLeod and
Caden Sullivan notched solo sacks in the game.

Markus Clark and
Caden Sullivan both forced a fumble for the first time in their careers, while
Hansky Paillant recovered one for the second time in his career.

Michael Hughes had his first field goal attempts and makes since Oct. 8 at Texas State, going 2-for-2 including a career-long 40-yarder. He is now 5-for-7 on the year.
