BOONE, N.C. - The App State volleyball team continues its road stretch on Friday and Saturday, traveling to Monroe, La. to clash with ULM. Friday's match is set for 6 p.m. CT (7 p.m. ET) and Saturday's match is slated for a noon CT (1 p.m. ET) start. Both matches will be broadcasted on ESPN+.

Alyssa McBean in digs (13). On Friday, Ambrose posted a season and career high 20 kills and tied with Denny in aces, both serving up two. Missroon held the lead in blocks again, totaling eight. Bickley led the Mountaineers in assists (25), while junior
Sophie Cain posted a season and career high of 19 digs.

Kenady Roper leads in the digs category (222), and freshman
Maya Winterhoff leads the team in total blocks (72). Bickley, Denny, and Winterhoff are tied for the lead in service aces with 18 apiece.
Winterhoff remains in the national rankings for hitting percentage, checking in at 11th and is first in the conference for the season thus far, with a hitting percentage of .426. In the blocks category, Missroon ranks fifth for the season as well as in conference-only play, and Winterhoff ranks sixth in SBC-play and seventh for the season. Roper ranks ninth in the digs category for the season as a whole.
Last Time Against ULM
The Mountaineers last met the Warhawks on Oct. 17, 2021 in Boone, N.C. The Black and Gold swept ULM, 3-0, outpacing the Warhawks in kills (44-22), aces (6-0), blocks (6-2), assists (41-19), digs (39-23), and points (56-24). Denny led the team in kills, slamming down 12, while Cain posted 39 assists and two aces.
Scouting ULM
The Warhawks are 6-14 (0-6 SBC) this fall. After a rough start to the season, ULM notched three victories at the Molly Howard Gerwig Memorial Tournament (Sept. 2-3), posting wins over Bethune-Cookman, UC Riverside, and host Houston Baptist. The Warhawks also posted back-to-back sweeps of Alcorn State (Sept. 13) and Southern (Sept. 16) and edged past Northwestern State (Sept. 17) to cap non-conference play. In Sun Belt action, the Warhawks are 0-6, having fallen to Texas State, South Alabama, and Southern Miss.
Madeline Williams leads the Warhawks in kills (232) and total blocks (46). WIlliams ranks eighth in the conference in the hitting percentage category for the season so far with a percentage of .330. Leading the team in assists and aces is Bailey Roberson, who has tallied 486 assists and 23 aces. Roberson rounds out the top-10 in the conference for assists this season. Cameron Rogers holds the team-high in the digs category, posting 290 so far this fall and ranking seventh in the SBC for the season.
Last fall, ULM went 5-27 (1-15 SBC). The Warhawks posted three consecutive wins from Aug. 27 to Aug. 31, defeating Prairie View A&M, Lamar, and Northwestern State. ULM edged past Louisiana Tech, 3-2, on Sept. 14 before posting its sole regular season conference win against Georgia State on Sept. 23. In the Sun Belt Tournament, the No. 6 seeded Warhawks fell to No. 3 seeded Georgia Southern, 3-1, in the first round.
