BOONE, N.C. - App State field hockey will hold its second and last preseason exhibition game against Queens on Sunday at 1 p.m., from the Brandon and Erica M. Adcock Field.
The Mountaineers are looking to bounce back from their Friday loss to Wake Forest, where several App State freshmen were able to gain scrimmage experience, including Charlotte Bosma, who scored a goal in the first period.
App State head coach
Meghan Dawson mentioned the value of scrimmages before the regular season.
"It's a great opportunity to get out on the field, see what the girls have been doing, see what we need to take as coaches and learn how to get better," Dawson said.
