BOONE, N.C. – App State Athletics has announced its ESPN+ streaming plan for the Mountaineers' 2021 home baseball games.
ESPN+ is a $5.99/month or $59.99/year subscription service that can be downloaded at
espnplus.com, from any app store via iPhone/Android phones or from on a streaming device like Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire and Google Chromecast. Once you have a subscription, you can watch any ESPN+ event from
espnplus.com or the ESPN app on any streaming device.
App State's streaming schedule for the 2021 season is tentative and subject to change.
The ESPN+ schedule includes three Sun Belt home weekends along with midweek home games against Wake Forest, NC State, Charlotte, North Carolina A&T and ETSU. There are two weekends in which the Mountaineers are scheduled to play Sun Belt home games in both baseball and softball, so App State will offer an ESPN+ production for baseball on one of those weekends and an ESPN+ production for softball on the other weekend.
With a handful of home baseball games not scheduled for ESPN+, student-run WASU radio will broadcast a select number of non-ESPN+ games being played at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium. WASU can be heard on 90.5 FM in Boone, via its "Listen Live" link at
https://www.wasuradio.com or by downloading its mobile app, which is available on Google Play and the App Store.
