Last Time Out
The Mountaineers went 2-3 at the Charleston Invitational, beating Charleston Southern, 2-0 and Ohio, 9-1. App State fell to Bradley, North Carolina A&T and College of Charleston. The Mountaineers currently sit at 9-5 on the season.
Against the Buccaneers, pitcher
Sydney Holland gave up two hits and struck out six in her fifth win.

Taylor Thorp had an RBI off a sacrifice fly. App State ended the Charleston Invitational with a run-rule of Ohio, taking down the Bobcats 9-1 in six innings. The Mountaineer bats exploded for a season-high 13 hits en route to their ninth win of the season.
Sun Belt Leaders
Holland currently leads the Sun Belt in three categories including opposing team batting average (.149), wins (6) and runs allowed (5). The senior also has the second lowest ERA in the conference with 0.69. Offensively,
Baylee Morton's 14 RBI are good for fifth in the conference. With four doubles, Parrott sits T-3
rd.
Senior CLASS
Keri White is one of 30 candidates for the Senior CLASS award. White, a third baseman from Hampstead, N.C., started at third base in all 56 games during her junior year. She was named to the All-Sun Belt Second Team after leading the Mountaineers in seven categories including runs scored (38), hits (66), doubles (11), triples (2), total bases (90), stolen bases (13) and at bats (190). She posted a .347 batting average alongside a .474 slugging percentage and was a perfect 13-for-13 stealing bases.
Off the field, White excels in the classroom as a special education major. She was named to the 2019 Sun Belt Commissioner's List for maintaining a 3.5 grade point average or better during the 2018-19 academic year. She has also been named to the App State Athletics Academic Honor Roll numerous times for having a GPA of 3.25 and above.
Scouting Oakland
The Grizzlies (6-3) are coming of a 3-2 weekend at the Citrus Classic in Orlando, Fla. Notable wins in Florida include a 4-2 win over Clemson, as well as a 14-12 victory over Villanova and a 3-2 win over Stetson. Cammie Brummitt and Sidney Rayba lead Oakland offensively, hitting .406 and .400, respectively. In the circle, Sydney Campbell is 4-0 with a 1.40 ERA and 30 strikeouts.
Scouting Dayton
Dayton (2-8) is coming off a bye weekend, with its last games coming at the Houston Classic from Feb. 14-16. The Flyers went 0-5, falling to Oregon State and No. 21 Oregon State twice, as well as Houston. Mallory Kimmell is the leader at the plate, hitting .500 witha .538 on base percentage and a .667 slugging percentage. In the circle, Sarah Bailitz has seen the most action in the circle with 26.1 innings pitched. She has a 6.15 ERA and is 0-4 on the season.
Scouting UNCG
The Spartans enter the weekend with an 8-5 record and notable wins over North Carolina and Clemson. Offensively, Delaney Cumbie is hitting .333 with 14 hits, including three home runs and 12 RBI. In the circle, Morgan Scott is 4-3 with an ERA of 3.40 and 51 strikeouts.
