2024:
Named First Team All-Sun Belt, becoming the first player to earn First Team honors since 2018 and joining Jane Cline (2015, 2016) as the only players in program history to earn multiple All-Sun Belt Honors...Named Third Team All-Southeast Region...Played and started all 19 matches on the season...Scored a career-high 11 goals including three braces on the season - Sept. 5 at Radford, Oct. 10 vs Coastal Carolina and Oct. 20 vs Arkansas State...Led the Sun Belt in shots (80) and shots on goal (41) while ranking third in the conference in goals (11), points (23) and finished tied for third in game-winning goals (3). Also became the second player in program history to earn Preseason All-Sun Belt honors.

2023: Named Second Team All-Conference, becoming the first App State player to garner all-conference recognition since 2018...Played and started all 18 matches, accumulating 1,327 minutes on the year...Finished with a career-high seven goals, four assists and 18 points...Led the Sun Belt with 79 shots and 34 shots on target, while ranking tied for fifth in goals and assists and was tied for the conference lead with five game-winning goals and 12th nationally...Her 4.39 shots-per-game was ranked 10th in the nation...Wood's 20 points this season are tied for seventh most in a single-season in program history, while her 79 shots are second-most in a single year...Wood also ranks ninth all-time with 143 career shots, while her 15 career goals are also tied for ninth most in program history.

2022: Played in all 19 matches, making 18 starts, and played nearly 1,200 minutes on the campaign...Led the team with six goals and 12 points on the season, while also pacing the squad with 52 shots and 24 shots on target...Posted her first career brace in a 2-2 draw with Radford (9/15)...Scored goals in back-to-back games in wins at Southern Miss (10/20) and vs Louisiana (10/23)...Her first goal of the season was a game-winning goal against UT Martin (8/25)...Ranked the 6th in the conference in shots and 7th in shots on goal.

2021: Did not play due to injury. 

2020: Started in nine of the 14 matches played ... amassed 745 minutes of play ... finished tied for first on the team with two goals and second on the team in points with five ... was second on the team with eight shots on goal, while her .667 shot on goal percentage was first when attempting 10 or more shots ... tallied her first collegiate point against Georgia State (9/17) ... both of her goals came in conference play when she notched the game-winning score against Troy (10/16) ... notched the match-tying goal against ULM (10/25) in the first round of the Sun Belt Tournament.

High School: Enjoyed a decorated high school, earning two varsity letters in soccer, basketball and football at Hickory High School ...  earned numerous awards, as she was US Soccer Coaches All-Mid Atlantic Region, All-Conference and All-Region before earning All-State honors ... in 2019, she was recognized as the 4A/3A Northwestern Conference Player of the Year after being the top scorer in the North Carolina 3A with a whopping 53 goals and 14 assists, which was top 10 in the country ... Wood made the 2019 Charlotte Observer All-First Team and HHS Offensive Player of the Year ... last season, she was the Charlotte Golden Boot award winner and Charlotte Soccer Academy Elite Girls Player of the Year ...  Wood helped the Charlotte Academy squad to a pair of state cup titles and an appearance in the regional finals

Personal:  Born on May 22, 2002, Izzi is the daughter of Warren and Amy Wood ... she has two siblings, Gracyn and Turner ... her hobbies include boating, paddle boarding and outdoor activities.
