2019: Played in 32 games and made four starts (three in center field, one at DH) … Often served as a late-inning defensive replacement in right field and converted all 18 of his outfield chances into putouts for a 1.000 fielding percentage … Batted .160 with four hits, one double, one RBI and eight runs scored … Went 1-for-1 with one run scored against UNC Asheville in his final home game and was 1-for-2 with one RBI and one run scored on Senior Day to close the South Alabama series … Doubled against Gardner-Webb and went 1-for-1 with one run in a home win against N.C. Central … Scored runs in back-to-back games as a pinch-runner against Georgia State.

2018: Played in 51 games and made 48 starts, including 47 as the right fielder … Had five home runs, 19 RBIs, 10 doubles, 18 runs, 40 hits, eight stolen bases and a .227 batting average … Hit in the leadoff spot in the final 11 games, and that move coincided with the last portion of a 17-game hitting streak that ran from April 14 to May 13 … From the time his hitting streak began, over the final 22 games of the season, batted .304 (24-for-79) with three homers, six doubles, 14 RBIs, 10 runs and five steals … Hit a team-leading .286 in Sun Belt play with two homers and nine doubles in 27 games … Had three homers in a stretch of five games as a hitter, going deep against North Carolina Central (first-inning grand slam), ULM and Gardner-Webb (homer in Charlotte’s BB&T Ballpark) … Also homered against UNCW and Texas State … Had eight multi-hit games, including a 3-for-3 effort against Troy on April 1 ... Second on the team with 10 two-out RBIs.

Previously: Redshirted his freshman year at Tusculum College under head coach Doug Jones and played at Volunteer State in 2016, when he had six homers, 23 RBIs, seven doubles, 15 runs scored and a .241 average in 36 games … Transferred to Motlow State Community College and was coached by Dan McShea in 2017 … During sophomore season, batted .350 with 40 RBIs, 13 HRs and a .667 slugging percentage.
