Palmisano joins the Mountaineers after serving as the student manager and director of basketball operations intern for the Michigan State women's basketball team. He also served as head manager and scout team player for the team and was a sales associate for the Spartan Ticket Office. Last season, the Spartans had win streaks of five games and four games throughout the season and earned a win over in-state rival, No. 4 Michigan.
 
The Greensboro, N.C., native graduated from Michigan State in 2022 with a degree in kinesiology and minor concentrations in coaching and health promotions.

"Mark brings a relentless work ethic, along with tremendous relationship skills that will immediately impact our student-athletes," Elderkin said.

App State has always had a special place in my heart growing up and now to say I am a Mountaineer means so much to me.
