JUNIOR • 2017-18
Saw action in 25 of 31 games in her first season in the Black and Gold … scored a career-high 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting in a personal-high 22 minutes at eventual Sun Belt Tournament runner-up, Texas State (2/3) … dished out a season-best three assists to go along with five points at home against Georgia Southern (1/13) … best two-game stretch came against the Bobcats and Coastal Carolina where she averaged 7.0 points, shot 60 percent and played 16.5 minutes through both contests.

PRIOR TO APP STATE
One of two international recruits to sign with the Mountaineers, Gomez played two seasons at Eastern Wyoming College where she developed her game ... capable of creating her own shot and is efficient in scoring the ball while improving her 3-point game in two seasons ... in 2016-17, she ranked third in Region 9 and second in the South Conference in scoring averaging 14.5 points per game ... led the conference shooting an impressive 52.6 percent from the floor while posting a 37 percent shooting clip from outside the arc, a vast improvement from the nine percent she shot from 3-point land in her freshman season ...  contributed to a 20-11 season and an appearance in the conference championship ...  was named all-region her sophomore season and was voted by her teammates as the Most Valuable Player ... in her first season at Eastern Wyoming, Gomez put in 5.8 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prior to Eastern Wyoming, Gomez played her high school ball for CB Arenys in Liga Femenina de Baloncesto, which is the premiere league in Spain ...  qualified for fourth in the regional championships in 2013-14 while posting a 19-5 mark with Interterritorial  and finished runner-up in the sectional championship.

PERSONAL
Born on March 13, 1997, Gomez is the daughter of David and Angels. She has two siblings. Gomez will major in interdisciplinary studies at App. Her hobbies include traveling, hanging out with friends, reading and dancing.
