As a Redshirt Freshman (2010-11)
• Was sidelined by illness from late November until early February, when he rejoined the Mountaineers.
• Made his Black and Gold debut against Montreat with two points in four minutes.

As a True Freshman (2009-10)
• Redshirted.
• Won the Flanders Trophy with the Wales U20 team in August 2010 with his brother, Alex, at the 20-team tournament in Belgium.
• Led the Wales team with 15.4 points per game to go along with 5.8 rebounds.
• Scored a tournament-high 24 points against Germany’s team.

Charlotte Catholic H.S.
• Started as a junior and senior for Coach Mike King.
• Led the team to its first-ever 3A sectional championship.
• Played for the Charlotte Royals AAU team, which won state three times and finished in the national top-15 each of the past two years.
• Earned a silver medal with the Wales (UK) team in the FIBA European Championships in 2007.

Personal
• Born September 24, 1990.
• Son of Sean and Jane Kilmartin.
• Has a younger brother, Alex (17).
• Both his father, Sean, and uncle, Mike Helms, played for the Mountaineers in the early 1980s.
• Holds a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and won the AAU championship eight times in the sport.
• Plans on majoring in finance.
