» Named All-Conference as a senior at Watauga HS
» Averaged 16.1 points per game, 6.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals
» Scored 20 or more points six times as a senior, including a season-high 32 points in a road win at Avery County
» Was also a member of Watauga’s 2025 state championship football team as a wide receiver
» First Mountaineer from Watauga HS since Bryant Greene (2019-24) who served as Love's assistant coach at Watauga from 2024-26
