2014-15: Named as a second team all-Sun Belt selection after leading the team and finishing fifth in the conference in scoring (16.6 ppg) ... was one of three Mountaineers to start all 29 games ... earned Sun Belt Player of the Week honors twice ... in addition to his scoring, averaged 3.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game ... scored in double figures 22 times and eclipsed the 20-point mark 11 times ... made the game-winning bucket with 1.0 second remaining in an upset of Virginia Tech (Nov. 22) ... scored 20 points for the first time in a loss to Furman (Nov. 19) ... poured in 25 and made a career-high 12 free throws in a win over Hampton (Nov. 24) ... averaged 21.5 points per game during a seven-game stretch from Jan. 8-22 ... the stretch culminated with a career-high 31 points in a win over Texas State (Jan. 24) ... the scoring outburst helped Appalachian to a four-game winning streak from Jan. 17-24, which included an upset of eventual Sun Belt champion Georgia State (Jan. 17) ... scored 27 points in the win over the Panthers en route to his second Sun Belt Player of the Week award ... pulled down five or more rebounds in 11 different games ... connected on four or more three-point buckets five times, including a career-high eight in the win over Georgia State ... ended the year with four-straight games in double figures, including 28 in a win over UL Monroe (Feb. 28) ... led the team in free-throw percentage (81.3 percent).

Personal: Full name is Frank Emmanuel Eaves ... born Feb. 13, 1994 (turns 22 during the season) ... son of Sheila and Jerry Eaves ... father, Jerry, played collegiately at Louisville, where he was a member of the Cardinals’ 1980 National Championship team and the 1982 Final Four squad before being drafted by the Utah Jazz in the third round of the 1982 NBA Draft ... Jerry also coached in the NBA with the Nets, Hornets and Cavaliers and collegiately at Howard and Louisville before spending nine years as the head coach at North Carolina A&T ... has three siblings, Lee Anne, Ashley and Anthony... majoring in management.
