Signed first professional contract with the Florence Y'alls in June 2024

2024: Started all 55 games at first base for the Mountaineers...Slashed .321/.465/.550 wih 19 doubles, nine home runs and 48 RBIs...Reached base safely in each of the first 43 games of the season, the second-longest on-base streak in program history...Tallied 11-game hitting streak during that span...Registered 19 multi-hit games and 14 multi-RBI games...Hit go-ahead two-run home run at Texas State on March 17 which was the longest App State home run in the TrackMan era, traveling 465 feet...Tallied season-high four hits and back-to-back four-run games on April 19 and 20 at Arkansas State...Hit go-ahead three-run home run in seventh inning of elimination game against Coastal Carolina on May 23 to help the Mountaineers advance in the Sun Belt Tournament...Committed just three errors in 395 chances for a team-best .993 fielding percentage...Finished the season tied for fifth in the Sun Belt in doubles (19), sixth in runs scored (64), and fourth in hit by pitch (19)...Finished eighth in single-season program history for runs scored (64) and tied for tenth in single-season doubles (19).

Prior to App State: An ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove finalist in 2023, Holderback transfers to App State following one year at Rice. At the plate, Holderbach batted .266 with six home runs and 30 RBI in 56 starts for the Owls. Prior to his time at Rice, Holderbach was a four-year standout for Division III Marietta College, earning All-Mideast Region first team honors as a senior. He was also a two-time gold glove winner at first base, helping the Pioneers to their first Division III College World Series Appearance, batting over .400 his senior year. He has committed just one error in over 1,200 chances across his last three seasons.
