Biography

One of only five fifth-year seniors on the team, Corbin provides leadership to go along with his play at right tackle, where he is a two-year starter ... began his career as a defensive lineman but has started 20 of the last 21 games after moving to the offensive side of the ball ... is locked in a battle with Davante Harris (6-6, 275), another defensive convert, to maintain his starting assignment at right tackle going into the fall.

2013: Started 11-of-12 games at right tackle ... graded out at 75 percent or higher in six of his nine 10 graded appearances and was 70 percent or better in 9-of-10 games ... earned an 83-percent grade, his second-highest mark of the season, in home opener versus North Carolina A&T ... graded out at 87 percent with two knockdowns (both season bests) at Furman ... also surpassed the 80-percent plateau against The Citadel (82) and Georgia Southern (81) ... missed his only game of the season when he woke up with an illness the morning of the next-to-last contest of the year at Wofford.

2012: Started the final nine games of the season at right tackle … did not see action in the first three games of the season but moved into the lineup when starter Regan Dufort was suspended for a violation of NCAA rules prior to a pivotal road game at Chattanooga … graded out at 79 percent for the season, good for third among Appalachian State’s seven most-utilized offensive linemen … was on the field for 68-of-72 plays and recorded two knockdowns in debut at UTC … played all 82 snaps the following week versus Coastal Carolina and notched a season-high-tying five knockdowns while receiving an 87-percent grade … recorded five knockdowns again the next week versus Elon … received season-high job (92 percent) and technique (81 percent) grades in come-from-behind win at Samford … graded out at 87 percent versus Wofford … received an 85-percent grade in triumph at top-ranked Georgia Southern.

2011: Began the season on the defensive line before moving to the offensive line to add depth to a position depleted by injuries and departures throughout the campaign … saw action in five games but just two (Oct. 22 vs. Samford and Nov. 12 vs. Western Carolina) after the transition to offense … made tackles in each of the first two games of the season (at Virginia Tech, vs. North Carolina A&T) … was in on one stop behind the line of scrimmage at Virginia Tech.

2010: Redshirted.

High School: Recorded 71 tackles and eight sacks from his defensive tackle position as a senior ... helped lead Triton to back-to-back 8-3 regular-season records and playoff berths in 2008 and ‘09 ... coached by Joe McCullen.
