Tanner Jackson rejoined App State’s staff in 2023 as a graduate assistant working on the defensive side of the ball. Previously, he was a student assistant with the football program from 2018-21. 
 
In 2022, Jackson worked on the ULM coaching staff as a defensive analyst.
 
Jackson graduated from App State in 2021, earning his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science. While working as a student assistant, he was tasked with making scouting reports, breaking down opponent film and coaching the scout team at practice.
