Romorious Westbrook joined the App State football staff as an assistant director of athletic performance in January 2023. 
 
Westbrook has been on coaching staffs for three different schools. Most recently, he was the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Texas State Bobcats, a fellow Sun Belt Conference member. 
 
As a player, Westbrook appeared in 44 games at Harding University in Arkansas. He was a two-time first-team All-GAC member in 2012 and 2013 after compiling 21 rushing touchdowns over those two years. Westbrook recorded 3,159 rushing yards over the course of his four-year career at Harding and reached the end zone 29 times. 
 
The Marion, Ark., native graduated from Harding University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In 2022, Westbrook received his master’s degree in business administration from Ottawa University in Kansas.
