KJ Parmer

KJ Parmer joined the App State staff as a graduate assistant with the offense in 2023.

A West Georgia alum, Parmer played there from 2015-18 and then was a graduate assistant for the Wolves. Prior to the 2022 season, he was hired as UWG's wide receivers coach. In 2021, Parmer coached the wide outs as a graduate assistant, helping Mechane Slade earn All-America honors while setting a UWG single-season reception record with 78 catches.

As a player, Parmer caught 50 passes in his career for 561 yards. On special teams, he registered 41 punt returns for a total of 498 yards, returning one for a touchdown. Parmer was a member of UWG's Super Region 2 title team in 2015 and was a part of 38 wins over four seasons as a Wolf.

Originally from Lawrenceville, Parmer earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from UWG in 2018 and a master’s in business administration in 2021.
