Jasmyn McLeod joined App State Athletics in June 2023 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer, working with the football team and men’s and women’s golf programs.
McLeod joins the Mountaineers from Syracuse University, where she spent the past two years as a Resident Athletic Trainer, working with the Orange football, women’s tennis, rowing, and cheerleading programs.
McLeod earned her Master’s degree in athletic training from Salisbury University in 2020. She also earned her undergraduate degree from Shenandoah University in 2018 in exercise science with a minor in psychology.
After graduation, McLeod worked as a physical therapist aide at Pivot Physical Therapy in Arnold, Md.
She is a NATA BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, and certified in First Aid, CPR, and Basic Life Support.
McLeod grew up in Neptune, N.J. before moving to Aberdeen, Md. before high school. She now lives in Boone, N.C. In her free time, McLeod enjoys shopping, knitting, and binge watching TV shows.
