Andrew Blaylock arrived at App State in 2016 and is App State's Director of Player Personnel. In 2021, he's entering his sixth season with the Mountaineers. 

As Director of Player Personnel, Blaylock oversees the recruiting department for the App State football program.

Blaylock previously worked at Louisville (2011-14) and Texas State (2015) in recruiting and player personnel. He was a member of the Florida Gators' football program from 2006-10, joining the team as a walk-on quarterback. He appeared in one game as a receiver.

He graduated from Florida with a bachelor's degree in recreation and event management.

Blaylock is from Durham, N.C., and resides in the High Country with his wife, Amanda. He attended Durham Jordan High and graduated as Jordan’s all-time career passing leader (3,422) and single-season passing leader (1,612 in 2005).
