2023: Pitched in 23 games and made 16 starts … finished the season with a team-best record of 8-8 and led all pitchers with an ERA of 3.22 … struck out 59 batters and tallied four complete games … pitched at least six innings seven times, including a win as a starter in App State’s first ranked win in program history against No. 23 Louisiana … pitched 12 innings in a series win over Georgia State and struck out nine batters … named to the Academic All-District Team.
2022: Pitched 26 games, including eight starts as a freshman … Posted the 13th-best ERA in the conference (.301) … Finished 8-6 with two shutouts and one save … Struck out 40 batters … Gave up 96 hits and 50 runs with a .270 opponent batting average against.
High School
A member of the Science Hill High School softball team, Neas earned All-Conference second team honors as a freshman pitcher after tallying 104 strikeouts and hitting five home runs at the plate. As a sophomore, the pitcher was named first team All-Conference and to the All-Tournament team after posting 181 strikeouts and 10 home runs. Her junior season was cut short due to COVID-19. She was also named Freshman of the Year in 2018 and Pitcher of the Year in 2019. Neas played travel ball with Carolina Elite 18U National.
