2018: Played in seven games at defensive tackle, including the first four of the season as well as the regular season finale against Troy and the Sun Belt Championship Game win against Louisiana … Had two tackles on the season, both in the Sun Belt title game.

2017: Appeared in all 13 games as a true freshman while backing up MyQuon Stout at defensive tackle … Finished the season with 16 total tackles, including a season-high three against Wake Forest … Credited with 3.0 tackles for loss, including half of one in each of the final three games and four of the final five games … One of three true freshmen to play on defense.

High School: Graduated in 2016 and signed with the Naval Academy out of high school. Spent that year at the Naval Academy Prep School in Rhode Island before joining App State’s recruiting class ... Played at Spain Park High School in the Birmingham area, where he was an all-conference selection and the Team Defensive MVP ... Had 92 tackles as a senior with 14 tackles for loss, four sacks, and two fumble recoveries ... Led Spain Park to the 7A state championship game and was MVP of a defense that allowed only eight touchdowns over its final nine games.
