Biography

2018: Redshirted as a true freshman who appeared in two games … The second-team punt snapper made his collegiate debut against Charlotte and played again in the New Orleans Bowl win against Middle Tennessee … With senior starter Elias McMurry sidelined in the bowl win, took the field when App State punted for the first time in the fourth quarter and delivered the snap on Clayton Howell’s 60-yard kick to the 1-yard line.

High School: Helped Lee County go 12-1 as a senior, and during the Yellow Jackets’ 12-0 start, amassed 100 tackles, fiive sacks, five fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and one interception ... Had as many as 12 tackles in one game ... Also a tight end and long snapper, Forbes helped Lee County post shutouts in nine of its 13 games.
