Career: Became a starting defensive tackle as a senior and All-Sun Belt performer after playing one year of Division II football, transferring to App State with no guarantee of being on the team, participating in a walk-on tryout in 2016, joining the team in the spring of 2017 and receiving a scholarship in the spring before the 2019 season … Second-team All-Sun Belt by PFF College and third-team All-Sun Belt by the coaches/media as a senior … Made 12 starts in 33 career games and totaled 44 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks (both coming on Senior Day).
 
2019: Second-team All-Sun Belt by PFF College and third-team All-Sun Belt by the coaches/media … Started in 12 of his 14 game appearances and totaled 28 tackles with 7.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, three quarterback hurries and two PBUs on batted-down passes … Named to PFF College’s National Defensive Team of the Week after recording the first two sacks of his career and deflecting a pass that led to an interception on Senior Day against Texas State … Forced a fumble and then recovered it on Louisiana’s first drive as App State built a 21-0 lead in its Sun Belt Championship Game win … Finished the Sun Belt Championship Game with a career-high seven tackles … Had 2.0 tackles for loss against East Tennessee State in his first career start to open the season.

2018: Made an appearance in all 13 games at defensive tackle and finished the year with 12 stops … Had a season-high three tackles, including half a tackle for loss, against South Alabama … Credited for two quarterback hurries: one at Georgia Southern and the other at Texas State … Recorded a pass deflection in the New Orleans Bowl victory over Middle Tennessee and also the Gardner-Webb win.

2017: Joined the team as a sophomore walk-on in the spring of 2017 following a transfer from Shaw … Sidelined by injury early in the season, played in six of the final seven games, starting with his debut against Coastal Carolina … Made four stops as a defensive tackle, with two coming at Georgia State.

2015: Appeared in five games as a freshman for Division II Shaw University in Raleigh, posting five tackles and one sack for the Bears.
