Elizabeth Tegeler comes to App State after a successful high school career that included four all-conference selections at Providence Day. She was also named to the all-state team as a junior and the All-Star NCISAA team as a senior. Leading her team to national rankings in the goalkeeping stats, Tegeler also earned Charlotte Observer all-star team honors in all four years and was once named to the Max Field Hockey Invitational all-tournament team. Her high school squad won two NCISAA championships during her tenure. Tegeler also competed with the Charlotte Ambush Field Hockey Club under Miki Osherow.
