Morgan Delgado became the Spirit Coordinator / Head Cheer Coach in August 2014. She graduated from App State with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Foods with a concentration in Dietetics. She cheered for the Mountaineers from 2011-14 and received the MVP award for the 2013-2014 season.

As an App State alumnae, her passion for the University and the team allows her to continue pushing the culture and grow the team. Under her direction, App State Cheer took a third-place finish in the squad's first competition since the early 2000's at the 2017 and 2018 Canam College Nationals in the Small Coed Division. Coach Morgan is a decorated UCA instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience, heading camps, and instructing college camps. 

Coach Morgan and her husband, Kevin, have 3 son's Jackson, Malachi and Brooks and dog, Lily.
