Career: Made 43 appearances as a left-handed specialist for the Mountaineers … As a senior, was picked as one of 30 candidates nationally for the Senior CLASS Award that required notable achievements in four areaa: community, classroom, character and competition. Was the only candidate from a North Carolina college program and one of only three candidates from the Sun Belt ... Academically, had a cumulative GPA of 3.53 as a finance major with plans to become a financial advisor. Was the vice president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for App State and served as the university’s representative when the Sun Belt Conference held its on-campus winter meeting in Texas.

2018: Appeared in 14 games and allowed six hits (all singles) in 5.0 innings … Finished with a 7.20 ERA and two strikeouts … Had a string of six straight scoreless appearances, lowering his ERA to 3.38 in late March, and didn’t allow a run in 11 of his 14 appearances … Pitched a scoreless inning at Texas State … Recorded a strikeout against No. 16 Coastal Carolina in his final career appearance.

2017: Appeared in 22 games as a relief pitcher and had a 1-0 record with a 4.82 ERA … Had 19 strikeouts, 10 walks, 19 hits allowed and 10 runs allowed in 18.2 innings … Through the first 17 of his 22 appearances, had a 0.82 ERA with one run and seven hits (all singles) allowed over 11 innings … Didn’t allow a run in 17 of his 22 appearances and didn’t allow a hit in his first six appearances … Picked up a win by allowing no runs on one hit in 1.1 innings of a 13-9 victory against Radford on March 21. Groundouts contributed to three of his four outs recorded as he got the last out of the seventh inning (with a 9-8 deficit) and all three outs in the eighth inning (with an 11-9 lead) … In one outing against No. 26 Missouri, had four strikeouts and one walk while facing five batters.

2016: Appeared in two games during his sophomore campaign … pitched 5.0 innings and recorded two strikeouts.

2015: Appeared in five games as a freshman … did not surrender any runs in three of the five outings and allowed one run or less four times … allowed one hit or less four times in five outings.

High School: Went 8-0 with a 1.68 ERA over 60 innings pitched and hit .414 en route to being named all-state and conference Player of the Year as a senior … three-time all-conference honoree and four-year letterwinner … coached by Jeff Hewitt … also lettered once in football … played summer/fall ball for Evoshield Canes (coached by Ken Daniels).
