2024: Made 19 relief appearances for the Mountaineers...Struck out 24 batters in 23.0 innings, holding opponents to a .229 batting average...Went 1-1 with an 8.22 ERA...Entered with bases loaded and stranded all three runners at Southern Illinois on March 3...Seven of eight outings were scoreless outings from Feb. 25 - April 5...Earned first career win at Georgia State on April 28 to complete sweep of Panthers...Fired 2.1 scoreless innings in relief in App State's elimination game win over Troy in the Sun Belt Tournament on May 24.

Prior to App State: Taramontana transferred to App State after spending his true freshman season at Iowa. A Collegiate Baseball second-team All-American out of Archbishop Moeller High School, Taramontana went 8-0 with a 0.86 ERA as a senior, striking out 85 batters in 57 innings of work. His high school pitching career was highlighted by a pair of no-hitters, in addition to a conference title and a regional runner-up finish.
