Biography

2020 (no eligibility used due to COVID-19):  Did not make any games appearances.

2019: Sat out the season while recovering from Tommy John surgery.

2018: Did not see game action after transferring from Concord University ... In the summer of 2018, after pitching for the Lenoir Oilers and performing well at the Southern Collegiate Prospect Showcase in mid-July, made the improbable jump to the prestigious Cape Cod League ... Had a scoreless debut and appeared in three games for the Chatham Anglers.

2017: Pitched in 13 games (11 starts) for Concord and went 3-4 with an 8.04 ERA ... Had three complete games ... Recorded 44 strikeouts and 38 walks in 56.0 innings ... Had nine strikeouts and gave up one earned run in six innings of a win at Glenville State late in the season ... 

High School: As a senior, struck out 16 batters and threw a no-hitter while pitching all seven innings of a 4-0 win against Elkin. For that effort, was named regional player of the week by USA Baseball and MaxPreps ... Also had double-digit strikeouts against North Wilkes (15), Wilkes Central (14) and Mount Airy (13) while posting 90 strikeouts in his first 46.1 innings of work that season ... As a a junior at Ashe County, Lowder had an ERA of 1.63 and 111 strikeouts in 61.1 innings. That included a 16-strikeout game in a win against Wilkes Central.
