Biography

Career: Hit a team-best 15 homers in his two years with the Mountaineers to go with 20 doubles, 79 hits, 50 runs and 44 RBIs … Started in 90 of his 93 career appearances.
 
2019: Led Sun Belt shortstops in slugging percentage (.550) during a senior season in which he batted .275 with a team-high nine homers, 22 RBIs, seven doubles and 30 runs (third on the team) … Played in 40 games and made 37 starts (28 at shortstop, nine at DH) … In league play, hit .319 with six homers, a team-high 23 runs and 14 walks in 22 games … Had two-homer games in a 14-5 win against Manhattan (a pair of two-run homers in the same inning) and an 18-6 win at Coastal Carolina, as he hit a first-inning grand slam in that victory … Also had a solo homer in that win at Coastal as part of a 3-for-3 game with five RBIs, five runs scored and three walks … In the Manhattan win, went 3-for-5 with four RBIs … Had a go-ahead, two-run single at UNC Asheville before homering in both wins vs. ULM. Solo homer in Game 1 of that series helped App State overcome a 2-0 deficit in a 3-2 win, and he broke a 3-3 tie during a 10-8 win in Game 2 with a two-run shot that went 411 feet with an exit velocity of 105 mph … Led the team at home with a 112-mph exit velocity recorded during the Georgia Southern series … Returned to App State’s starting lineup during the Texas State series in late March and had only one swing and miss in a 4-for-7 effort during that weekend. Averaged a 102 mph exit velocity on the balls he put in play with measurements of 109, 108, 105, 103, 100 (homer), 96 (double) and 91 mph.

2018: Started 53 of App State’s 54 games, playing primarily shortstop and missing just the second game of a season-opening doubleheader against UNCG … Led the team with six home runs and 13 doubles while also posting 22 RBIs, 20 runs, 43 hits and a .222 batting average … Made 50 starts at shortstop, one in right field (when CJ Brown was out with an injury) and two at DH (a season-ending doubleheader) … Hit five homers over the final 18 games … His tiebreaking home run to lead off the bottom of the eighth inning lifted App State to a 7-6 home victory against Little Rock. Also homered a day later against Little Rock … Hit a solo homer in the seventh inning of the finale against Coastal Carolina to give App State an 8-5 lead in an 11-7 victory … Homered in the second inning of a 4-3 win at Georgia State … Batted .327 (16-for-49) with seven RBIs over the final 13 games … Had 11 multi-hit games, including a three-hit game against Little Rock on the day of his tiebreaking homer … Ranked second on the team with a .262 batting average in league play with all six of his homers and seven of his doubles.

Previously (Brunswick CC): Batted .366 with 13 HRs, 57 RBIs and 17 doubles in 2017 ... Hit .306 with two HRs, 14 RBIs and 17 runs in 32 games in 2016.

High School: All-South Mountain Athletic Conference as an R-S Central senior.
