Biography

2025: Limited to two starts due to injury…Made App State debut on March 11 against Charlotte, striking out two in one inning and allowing an unearned run.

2024: Redshirtted

Prior to App State: Zang came to Boone after competing for Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Mich. as a freshman. He impressed on the mound, striking out 73 batters in 51 innings of work, going 5-2 with a 3.35 ERA for the Ocelots. Following the season, Zang was named the Eastern Conference Co-Player of the Year, in addition to being named first team All-Conference and Freshman of the Year. Zang played his high school ball for Dearborn Divine Child, and his senior season was highlighted by a 16-strikeout performance in the Divisional Championship game.
