2008: Started every game of the season at third base ... led ASU and ranked ninth in SoCon with 60 RBI (good for fourth in school history) ... also ranked among top 10 in conference with 18 doubles (third on team and tied for 10th in school history) ... hit .326, good for fourth on the squad ... added 79 hits (second on team, sixth in school history) and seven home runs (tied for second on team) ... ranked second on team with 12 multi-RBI games and third with 24 multi-hit efforts ... hit safely in 45-of-59 games overall, including a 13-game hitting streak from April 1-20, good for the second-longest ASU hitting streak of the season ... drove in at least three runs 10 times, including two five-RBI performances ? in a 5-for-6 effort at Jacksonville State (March 15) and with a two-home-run performance against Furman in ASU’s third game at the 2008 Southern Conference Tournament (May 23) ... combined to go 5-for-10 with seven RBI and three runs scored in ASU’s first season sweep over Wake Forest (Feb. 27 and March 18) since 1996 ... drove in four runs in win over Yale (March 9) ... notched two doubles and reached base four times versus UNC Greensboro (March 22) ... drove in three runs in win over High Point (March 25) ... hit .388 (19-for-49) with 12 RBI during 13-game hitting streak from April 1-20 ... capped run with a three-run homer in win over Western Carolina (April 20) ... had a monster game with a 5-for-8, five-RBI, two-run effort to help lead team to school records for runs and hits in a 26-10 win over Elon (May 1) ... closed the season by hitting safely in 12-of-13 games, including seven multi-hit performances ... had a double to go along with his two home runs and five RBI in the season finale vs. Furman ... hit .359 (47-for-131) with runners on base, including .400 (6-for-15) with the bases loaded ... earned academic all-conference recognition for his prowess on the field and in the classroom.
