2022: In first season of game action got off to a red-hot start, homering four times in his first 12 games. Four of his first seven hits were home runs, including a first inning grand slam against South Carolina on March 1. Saw majority of his playing time the first month of the season when Phillip Cole was sidelined with an injury. He finished the year playing in 28 games and making 18 starts. He made just one error defensively in the outfield. Six of his ten hits on the season were for extra bases.

2021: Redshirted

High School: Finished prep career at Providence High School in Charlotte, playing an abbreviated senior season in 2020 with coach Danny Hignight … As a junior at Tuscola High School in Waynesville, batted .377 with nine homers, 29 RBIs, 25 runs … Enjoyed two-homer games against North Buncombe and Brevard … Pitched in 11 games as a junior and finished with a 1.75 ERA … Was also a football standout, starting at quarterback for Tuscola’s football team … Added two more homers and 16 runs scored as a sophomore … Played for the South Charlotte Panthers travel team.
