2022: Played in 35 games, starting 13 in the outfield and as a designated hitter. Most frequently used pinch hitter on the team, went 7-for-18 (.389) as a pinch hitter on the season, including hits in five of his first nine pinch-hit at-bats. Tallied two hits and scored two runs in a start against Louisiana on April 30. Went 2-for-3 with first stolen base of the season May 15 at UT Arlington. Drew 11 walks and was hit by four pitches in 82 plate appearances on the year.
2021: Appeared in 29 games and made 15 starts (nine in right field, six at DH) … Finished with two homers, nine RBIs, one double, 10 total hits and four runs scored … Homered this season in conference games against Georgia State (go-ahead, two-run shot in the seventh inning) and ULM (gave App State a 4-0 lead in a Friday night win) … Saved a potential home run with a leaping catch against the wall at Miami.
2020 (no eligibility used due to COVID-19): Did not make any games appearances.
2019: Played in 37 games and started at DH in 27 games … Hit .250 with two homers, 17 RBIs, 27 hits, four doubles and 15 runs scored … First career homer gave App State a 1-0 lead in the second inning of a 6-3 win at NCAA Regional participant FAU and also homered at Coastal Carolina … In a 24-3 win against Gardner-Webb, went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, three runs scored and two walks … Had nine multi-hit games.
High School: NCBCA all-state selection after batting .397 with 20 RBIs and one home run as a senior at North Gaston, where he was the Offensive MVP for a team that went 22-5 … Named to the All-Gaston County Baseball Championship Team and was a second-team All-Gaston Gazette selection in 2018 … As a junior, earned second-team All-Gaston Gazette honors and helped lead his team to a 19-6 record. Led Gaston County with 28 runs batted in as a junior, hitting .353 with 15 runs scored, 30 hits and two home runs ... Played for coach Jesse Martin at North Gaston.
