App State Softball is excited to see every fan in attendance at this year’s home games. The team will open its 2026 home schedule at Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium on March 6 with the Mountaineer Classic.

Address:

• The physical address of Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium is Mountaineer Ridge Drive, Boone, NC 28607

 
Admission

• Admission is free for every App State Softball game at Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium.

 
Seating

• Bleacher seating is located behind home plate, underneath the press box.

 
Concessions and Restrooms

• Concessions are available at all home softball games.
• The concessions stand is located at the App 105 Building on the side facing the Randy Marion Track and Field Facility.
• Restrooms are located just to the left of the concession stand in the App 105 Building.

 
Entrance

• There are two ways to enter Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium:
  • On the third-base side, fans may enter the seating area using the staircase or ramp adjacent to the App 105 building (where concessions and restrooms are located).
  • On the first-base side, fans may enter the seating area using the sidewalk behind the first-base dugout.

 
Merchandise

• App State merchandise will be sold at all home games. The merchandise stand will be located under the bleachers
  • Follow the signage once you enter to find your way to the stand.

• Download the App State Athletics mobile app to get the latest updates and promotions for App State game days and sports teams. Enable push notifications to stay up-to-date with all your favorite App State teams and alerts.

Parking

• Free parking is available in the lot just before the construction entrance on Mountaineer Ridge Drive.
• ADA parking is available adjacent to the App 105 Building
• Parking is also available in the Holmes Convocation Center Parking Deck
• A complimentary shuttle will run from the Holmes Deck to the softball field before and after each home game.

 

 
 
Prohibited Items

• The following items are prohibited inside Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium
  • Outside food or beverage (patrons can bring 1 unopened bottle of water)
  • Coolers or containers
  • Artificial noise makers
  • Explosives or firearms
  • Umbrellas
  • Smoking/tobacco products
  • Any other items that Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium staff deem dangerous or disruptive to the fan experience

YIKAS Rewards (for students)

• YIKAS Rewards is a student-only rewards program that requires a valid App State student email address to join. Students check into App State home games to earn points, and redeem points for free gear, prizes, and great deals.
• Open the App State Athletics app on your mobile device, select "more" in the bottom navigation bar and click "Student Rewards" in the menu. Enter your information, including your student email address, and a confirmation message will be sent to your email. Then click "Confirm your email."
• Check in at the game to be eligible for awesome prizes.

Yosef Club

• The Yosef Club is the annual fundraising component of the Mountaineers Athletic Fund.
• The Yosef Club's primary purpose is to provide scholarships for App State student-athletes.
• Yosef Club members receive a variety of benefits. Members with season tickets receive their own parking pass for all home football and basketball games. Other benefits include a quarterly newsletter and special events throughout the year.
