SENIOR • 2023-24
Collected Second Team All-SBC honors and started all 32 games … Scored her 1,000th career point on Jan. 20 against Georgia Southern, becoming the 28th Mountaineer to reach the milestone in program history … Totaled 1,235 career points at App State to rank round out the top-15 in the program’s career scoring leaders list … Tallied three double doubles on the year … Was the Mountaineers’ top scorer in 20 games, including six consecutive games from Jan. 6 to Jan. 25 … Scored double figures in all but four games … Led the team in total points (586), assists (150), and steals (60) … Averaged 18.3 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game, and 4.7 assists per game … Recorded a career high 36 points against Georgia State in the first round of the SBC Tournament (Mar. 6) … Dished out a career high 11 assists against Georgia State (Feb. 17) and made a career high six steals against Ohio (Nov. 11) 

JUNIOR • 2022-23
Named Preseason Third-Team  All-Sun Belt … Ranked eighth in the conference for assists per game (3.6) … Ranked fifth in the SBC for assists per game in conference-only play, ranked within the top-25 in the SBC for league-only scoring and top-20 for 3-pointers per league-only games  … Recorded a career-high 11 rebounds as well as 14 points for a double-double against NC Central (Dec. 15) … Was the Mountaineers’ top scorer in three games and top rebounder in five games … Scored double-digits in five consecutive games from Jan. 28 to Feb. 11, which included a season-high 21 points against Georgia Southern … Led the team for assists and ranked second on the team for rebounds and steals

SOPHOMORE • 2021-22
Appeared in 25 games as a sophomore, starting 18 and clocking a total of 739 minutes on the court … Led the Mountaineers in assists, recording 81 for an average of 3.2 per game … Recorded 29 steals on the season, tying with Emily Carver for second-most on the team … Was fourth on the team in four categories:  points (246, averaging 9.8 per game), field goals (90, .385 FG%), three-pointers (31, .270 3P%), and free throws (35, .729 FT%) … Posted a season-high 24 points against Little Rock (3/4) … Finished the season eighth in the Sun Belt rankings for assists … Landed in the top-25 in the SBC in three-pointers made per game. 

FRESHMAN • 2020-21
Made some noise in her freshman season appearing in all 27 games and averaging 21.6 minutes of playing time ... was second on the team in assists, dishing out 2.5 per game ... her assist numbers are the most for a first-year player since 2017-18 (Nicola Mathews - 3.0 apg) and the most for a freshman since Anna Freeman in 2009-10 (2.7 apg) ... finished second among freshman in assists per game ... turned in three games in double-figure scoring, highlighted by two contests of a career-high 13 points against Georgia State (1/22) and ULM (3/5) in the opening round of the Sun Belt Tournament ... she dished out a career-high seven assists at Virginia Tech (12/4) and against the Warhawks in the postseason ... her seven assists in both contests are the most for a freshman since Freeman dished out eight at Samford.

HIGH SCHOOL
Alston was the floor general for one of the top high school girl's teams in the country at Paul VI Catholic under Scott Allen ... in her senior season, she contributed to Paul VI recording a 32-4 mark and finishing second in the top-20 ranking and capturing a staggering 14th consecutive Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association championship ...  the Virginia native was named to the VISAA All-State First Team and made the All-Metro Honorable Mention list ... she put forth all-around numbers, averaging 5.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists while shooting 55 percent from inside the arc ... scored in double figures in eight games with five of those outings in the last 12 contests of the season ...  dropped a season-best 14 points on two occasions, while dishing out a season-high eight assists ... led Paul VI to win the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division 1 State championship in back-to-back seasons ... voted on by the coaches during travel ball, she was named to multiple AAU All-Star teams while playing for the Loudon Flight under Clair Volker.
